One needs quite some discipline for such a project?! Perhaps you can give us some tips how to motivate and not to forget to take a shot every day?
which brings me to @markok 's question.
I guess it's different for everybody what drives them.
For me it is probably a bit of self-conquest - i gotta proof this to myself and now also to the people who like and follow the blog..., some healthy competition with my friend Jussi Hellsten who runs helsinki365.com as well as the inner need to capture, document and discover. Maybe you could call this last point my little photography addiction, the need to carry my camera with me all the time, everywhere.
At the same time the project is a great play- and practice-ground for me since i select & edit my final photos quite a bit before i post them.
A few times i was a bit late or had to pre-produce some images because i was on a trip or sick or something.
In the end it is a great way to rediscover my hometown with "new" eyes, publish some hopefully good photos and get better doing it.
